What Is A Chocolate Fish?

The Chocolate Fish is a mythical limited-time bait you can only obtain during the Valentine’s update event. Once the event ends, you won’t be able to get it anymore, so make sure you’re quick to grab some!

Here are the stats it has:

• Preferred Luck: 200%
• Universal Luck: 150%
• Resilience: 15%
• Lure Speed: 20%

Chocolate Fish also give their catches the Chocolate Mutation, which increases their sale value two and a half times.

How To Get Chocolate Fish

The only way to get your hands on this bait is by participating in the Valentine’s Day event. To play this, head to Moosewood and speak to the Valentine’s Day NPC. Once you hit certain milestones with how many fish you catch, you will get a reward. To ease some of the pressure, you can ask another player to be your Valentine, and the fish you both catch go towards the rewards.

To get Chocolate Fish bait, you need to catch 100 fish to obtain 5 bait, and 2000 fish to get 15 bait. At the moment, we aren’t sure if you can find this bait inside of bait crates, but based on other event bait, it’s unlikely that this is the case.

What Can You Catch?

Although you can use this bait to catch any fish, it is the preferred bait for both the Lovestorm Eel and the Lovestorm Eel Supercharged. You can catch these during the Lovestorm event, which happens at random on your server.
