Wizardry Variants Daphne will release for iOS and Android devices in October. You can start pre-registering for it in August. This new game in the Wizardry series looks like it will be different from the others in the series.

Don’t expect a happy, rainbow-colored RPG here. When you meet Daphne, you are thrown into a world that is about to end. A doorway to a scary world called The Abyss opens every 100 years and lets out death and destruction. The seal has been broken this time, and the world is quickly going to end.

How Can You Face This Adversary?

As death spreads across the land and the king goes missing, a loose group of adventurers steps forward as humanity’s last chance. That’s where you come in. You’ll assemble your group by picking from five classic RPG classes: the brave fighter, the powerful mage, the benevolent priest, the quick thief, and the strong knight.

There are also four races to choose from: the brave dwarf, the beautiful elf, the charming human, and the wild beastfolk. Carefully put together your dream team, because going into the Abyss is not an easy task. The dungeons are dangerous because they are full of traps and monsters that want to try your strength.

The first-person view is one of the things that makes Wizardry Variants Daphne stand out. In other words, you’ll be able to feel the damp atmosphere and hidden risks for yourself. Every squeaky floorboard, dark corner, and gaping mouth will be right before you.
